You must write and turn atwo page book reviewon Seeds of Empire.

Papers should focus on the author’s thesis or main argument. Begin by very brief stating what

the book is about. What is the author’s thesis or main argument? If there is one than one

argument or point the author is trying to make, state these as well. How does the author prove or

try to prove their argument? You need to provide examples of how the author attempts to back

their argument. What are the author’s sources? Do you think the author proved their argument? If

not, what is lacking in their argument or in the book in general?

The papers must be two-pages, doubled spaced, using 12-point font and with margins of 1 inch

(top and bottom) and 1 or 1.25 inches on the sides.

If you quote from the book place the page number of the quote in parenthesis at the end of the

sentence.
