Search Criteria:

In the research, I will include publications from the last ten years to keep the information recent and provide relevant studies. The age range will be limited to females only, aged 20-30. The publications used will be limited to English language. And the geographic scope will be limited to the state of Florida.

Evidence-based practices

I will be using various evidence-based practices such as, randomized controlled trials (RCT) which involve randomly selecting participants to either the intervention group or control group and assess the outcomes. Cohort studies, which follow a group of people over time to examine how certain exposures affect outcomes. Also, cross-sectional surveys which use a specific population at a given time, this can be useful for gathering data on the prevalence and patterns of holistic remedy use.

Excluded terms and rationale:

Raspberry leaf tea was excluded from the question. The mention of herbal supplements was kept general due to the variety of supplements that could be beneficial to the menstruation pain, this could broaden the research scope and make it less manageable. Keeping it general can make for a more focused and practical study.
