1. The first video is about how to create anima!ons to text or other objects using different methods and effects. The video also talked about what
anima!on effects can be used in different situa!ons and how to !ming the effects.
The second video is a tutorial of three PPT anima!on tricks. First is how to add entrance anima!on to text, second trick is reverse order technique,
third trick is how to make text disappear a#er every click.
2. In the first video, my main takeaway is know which anima!on effect should be used in different situa!ons. And the main takeaway of the second
video are how to control the pacing of the presenta!on and not to show all the text in a page at once in order to keep the audiences engaged.

Overview of anima!ons
The key purpose from this video is to improve delivery of content by teaching how to work with and apply anima!ons to text and objects, as well as
use the Anima!on Pane and Effect Op!ons. Anima!ons can help a presenta!on be interac!ve, and therefore engage the audience, such as a
presenta!on with ques!ons and answers. However, while anima!ons can improve content delivery, the anima!ons should be few and simple,
otherwise it works against the communicator as it can become distrac!ng.
Three basic text anima!ons
The key purpose of this video is to teach effec!ve techniques of applying anima!ons to a presenta!on to maintain the a”en!on of an audience.
When informa!on is presented to an audience all at once, the audience may read through it themselves and draw their a”en!on away a#er reading
it. However, by using anima!on techniques in this video, the presenter has the liberty to give informa!on at their own pace. This can be done by
transi!ons from one line of informa!on by dimming the font color of old informa!on while presen!ng new informa!on with a darker font. Another
method is by completely hiding old informa!on from the audience when new informa!on is presented.

Your summary is very perfect and clear. We need really during working on slide presenta!on to focus on how to make the audience engage and
becoming interes!ng. I like your post also because you focused on the threes basic text anima!ons which let the audience focusing on the points

Hi everyone,
Briefly summarize the key point of each video:
1. Through the first video (

), I learnt how to make a professional presenta!on with more accessibility tools by making effects for the most important informa!on in the
presenta!on. For example, if I am a teacher and I need to ask the students a ques!on without showing them the answer in the same !me, I can make
effect to bring the ques!on in first and a#er period of !me which I can control it from anima!on pane, the answer will appear without pressing any
bu”ons. So here, I can make presenta!on with automa!c slide show which that will help me to focus on how to deliver the informa!on to students
more than be confused about scrolling through the slides. I can control the order of appearing the informa!on from anima!on pane and that makes
the presenta!on more interes!ng and accessible.
2. Through the second video (

), I learnt how to let the students focus on the point which I am taking about. So I can make effect in color during the anima!on is working so I can
make the color of the other points which I am not taking about appeared with dim color through taking about specific point. The steps are pressing on
Anima!ons in upper toolbar then choosing the effect like wipe or fly in the choosing the anima!on pane from the toolbar under the upper one then
pressing on the arrow beside the effect appeared on the anima!on pane then choosing Effect op!ons then controlling from the color from Effect
then Enhancements then A#er anima!on by changing don’t dim to dim color. I also learnt how to make the anima!ons work in reverse order through
the text anima!on bar from Effect op!ons.

), the key is how to make the slide clear which help the audience focusing on every point and make it memorable separately then revising all points as
one answer.
