RSCC Fast and Furious 5 Rio Heist Group Communication Behavior Paper

Select a film that features a group. Use the list as a guide. Each person will be analyzing a different movie that has been approved by me. After viewing the film, you will decide which concepts you think best explains the group communication behavior in the film. You are welcome to use chapters we have not covered yet in your analysis.For this paper, I expect you to select one chapter to guide your analysis. For example, you may want to use the decision making chapter to analyze 12 Angry Men. You can select up to four concepts from that chapter. The body of the paper needs to focus on the application of the concepts to the behavior in the film. Set up a mini thesis for each idea, use quotations or well-stated paraphrasing to provide the evidence. Using examples that include behavior descriptions and dialogue is the best way to support your point. Offer clear analyses of how this example fits with the concept/idea you are offering. I also expect you to define the concepts you selected. I will evaluate you how well you match up the communication behavior examples from the movie to the concepts.To support your analysis, I expect you will use the course textbook along with one research article that corresponds to your selected chapter. The journal Small Group Research can be very useful with finding articles related to group communication concepts. The reference pages in the textbook can also guide you to research articles. You will also cite the film.
