To prepare:

• Review Chapter 6, of the course text, and the other Learning Resources this week. Consider your understanding of psychological profiling when conducting threat or risk assessments.
• Review the Eye See You/Domestic Stalking media pieces, episodes 1–8. Consider the case of Luis Guzman, from arrest to incarceration, taking into account his patterns, profile, and behaviors from a risk and threat assessment perspective.
• Use the APA Course Paper Template (APA 7), found in this week’s Learning Resources, to complete your Assignment

The Assignment (3–5 pages)

With the Luis Guzman case—and this week’s other Learning Resources in mind—address the following: 

• Explain the factors involved in Luis Guzman’s case that influenced his stalking behaviors and patterns.
• Explain any warning signs you identified in the Luis Guzman case.
• Determine which experiences from his life might have triggered stalking behaviors and patterns.
  Note: Assumptions may be presented.
• Explain which neurobiopsychosocial factors, from a threat and risk assessment perspective, you think influence the profiling of individuals who engage in stalking behaviors and why.
