Part 2: Identify the Purposes of Quantitative and Qualitative Research (1 page) 

Quantitative Research: Define quantitative research and explain its primary purposes, emphasizing its use in hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and generalizability.

Qualitative Research: Define qualitative research and highlight its main purposes, focusing on its role in exploring complex phenomena, understanding subjective experiences, and generating rich, in-depth insights.

Part 3: Analyze a Quantitative Research Study (1 page)

Selection of Study: Read the scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article by Saiti. 

Summary of the Study: Provide a concise summary of the chosen research study, including its purpose, research questions or hypotheses, methodology, participants, data collection procedures, and key findings.

Critical Evaluation: Critically evaluate the study’s strengths and weaknesses, considering aspects such as research design, sampling methods, measurement instruments, data analysis techniques, and validity and reliability of findings.

Reflection: Reflect on what you have learned from analyzing this quantitative research study and how it has informed your understanding of research methods.
