Informational Interview Instructions
Summary:
The purpose of this assignment is to expand your network. Business professionals need a
broad network within their chosen industry to locate and secure jobs, conduct business, and
add value. Here are the requirements:
1. Select someone you do not know and schedule a time to meet (in person, Zoom,
Skype, etc..): The interview should be with a potential hiring manager or someone in
a position to help you with your career choice.
2. Write a paragraph to introduce the interviewee and explain why you chose him or
her.
3. Write what you learned during the interview in a Q & A format.
