Technology in the Classroom Discussion

You are tasked with selecting blended or online instructional tools for some reason relevant to your particular context. For example, if you are a PK-12 educator, you might need to use online or blended instructors with learners who are in an alternate classroom setting due to credit needs or performance in the regular classroom. If you are in another organization setting, you might need to use online or blended instruction to accommodate tight budgets with a distributed workforce.

As a leader, prepare a proposal for the teachers and organizational staff that justifies your decisions to use online or blended learning. First, verify the current benefits, challenges, and strategies for incorporating your selection(s) into instruction. Then, design a comprehensive plan that could be used to help instructors incorporate your selected online instructional tool(s) in their teaching environments, including technology infrastructure and support services, training of instructors, course facilitation, and course design and development.
