I am doing my clinical side at adult day care center. When they are arriving to the facility we are going to near the door to great them and helping out to do not fall when they are going out from the bus. I am checking blood pressure before breakfast make sure it is not high and if it’s high letting LVN know. After that we are serving breakfast for them. They are doing different types of activities. Doing exercises. Playing lottery each of us need to be with them to make sure they are putting right numbers. Then they have coffee time after that serving the lunch for them. At the end we have to clean the tables and set up for the next day. Some of them have cognitive impairment. I am just giving you an idea what I am doing there but you can be creative. Before breakfast LVN checking blood sugar who has diabetes even though LVN telling them your BP is high before breakfast. PROBLEM-during exercise time some of the patients never getting from their chair to do exercise. How it can affect them? This week I am doing CLO 1 question I will send the questions.
