Analogy Speech Assignment & Outline Upload

In this assignment, your goal is to discuss characteristics about yourself through an analogy. Through this speech, you must compare yourself to an inanimate object of your choice.  The purpose of this speech is to tell the audience who you are through comparisons you have drawn between yourself and the object you have chosen; not to inform us about the object itself.  Delivery must be extemporaneous.  Your grade will suffer severely if you read.You are here to develop your skills as a speaker not a manuscript reader.

I’ve provided an example below. Be creative with your comparisons. Brainstorm characteristics about the object you choose. Think about its uses rather than physical characteristics and see what commonalities you find.
