Write an essay of 1500 words or more wherein you analyze, discuss and reflect upon the following pieces of art and music (note, don’t neglect to discuss how each piece makes you feel vis-à-vis Romanticism and Rousseauist concerns, etc.), utilizing 12 or more examples (i.e. four from Bukofzer CH.1, four from Bukofzer CH.12 and four from the Berleant article) to substantiate your critique. Examples from the syllabus readings (e.g. specifically, the Gombrich text, Chapter 19) are also encouraged, but not required if you find them unnecessary. Submit the essay via the online text box (no attachments). MLA, APA, Chicago styles, etc. are all welcome.
