To educate my audience on the ways in which infections can be curbed.
Thesis Statement
Infections consistently attack individuals hence deteriorating their health
hence it is important that this infection be eliminated.
INTRODUCTION
Attention Getter: how does it feel when infections weaken our immune system? Do you feel
okay after being diagnosed with infections and admitted in hospitals?
Credibility Material: my younger brother was infected by a deadly disease and was admitted in
the hospital for one month. The pain that he experienced was unbearable. He could cry and
scream as the infection worsened. Luckily, through proper medication, he was cured.
Relevance to Audience: This story shed light into us that infections cause suffering and agony
in individuals. It is important that we conduct ourselves in the proper way so as to avoid this
infections.
Preview of Speech. Today, I would like to familiarize you on infections, disadvantages of
infections and how to eradicate infections.
(I will begin by defining what infection is.)

BODY
1. Invasion refers to when an individual’s body has been attacked by organisms which multiply,
react in an individual’s body to cause diseases. This microorganisms lead to infectious diseases
that can be transmitted easily from one person to the other (Marder et al., 2017).
There are ways through which infections manifest themselves. They have signs that help one to
determine that he/she has been attacked by an infection. The signs and be in the form of;
diarrhea, fever, pains and swellings.
2. Infections lead to diseases. They infect the body of an individual and deteriorate the immune
system. They may lead to loss of hearing, abdominal pains, psychological problems, muscle and
joint pains.
3. There are various ways through which infections can be eradicated. The ways are; maintaining
proper hygiene and vaccination. Hands should be washed always with disinfectants and clean
water. Foods should be covered always. Vegetables and fruits should be cleaned with clean water
before consuming (Roll and Knoll, 2016).
CONCLUSION
Summary Statement: infections attack healthy bodies and they lower the immune system of the
individuals they attack. It is important to understand the effects that infections pause when they
attack healthy individuals. Through this, one is able to understand how these infections should be
eliminated.

Audience Response Statement: Why do infections attack individuals yet the body has a
mechanism of stopping such infections? Imagine that the infections have infected your loved
ones, what will you do? Therefore, it is important to eliminate such infections.
Wow Statement: I am going to leave you with a short message from President Putin who is the
president of Russia. “Infections cause suffering of loved ones hence they should be eradicated.”
Always remember the various ways that can be used to eradicate infections.
