home town/city, what would you rank as your community’s top five

to require the use of ICS in their operations.

Read the “History of ICS October 1994” (Source: National Interagency
Fire Center) to explore some of these requirements.

Next, read “Introduction to ICS” (Source: New York State Department of
Health). This reading explains how the use of the Incident Command
System allows for the coordination of organizational capabilities to their
fullest.
