For the Outline:

The four steps to an introduction

Reveal the topic of your speech.

To let the audience know you are ending the speech.

To reinforce the audience’s understanding of, or commitment to, the central idea.

I will attache an informative outline example that our professor proviaded for us.

Then using the outline the speech can be done.

I don’t know what topic I want to write about. The topic should be a self reflective, local applicability, “doable” as a project kind of topic. Any ideas?

2. educate fellow divers on the first Saturday of each month on our dive trips.
3. participate in the clean up of the beaches and the clean-up of the ocean floor
while on my dives (timing varies, at least three times monthly)
4. During the 6th week of the project, I will volunteer 8 hours for Scripp’s.

Conclusion
A. Our local waters are heavily polluted with solid debris, bacteria, viruses, and sewage.
B. My efforts will not eliminate ocean pollution, but I will make others aware and do my part
to clean our local waters – surf’s up or scuba down!
