Draw a use-case diagram for the Credit Card Processing System. The primary
actor for the system is a Merchant’s Credit Card Processing System. The
merchant submits a credit card transaction request to the credit card payment
gateway on behalf of a customer. The bank that issued the customer’s credit
card is the actor who could approve or reject the transaction. If the transaction
is approved, funds will be transferred to the merchant’s bank account.

Draw the Swimlane diagram for the student admission / registration process in
a Master degree program at XYZ university. The student submits application
form to the university administration which is forwarded to the registry office for
a review.

If the registry office discovers that the student does not meet the
admission criteria, the “application rejection” decision is communicated to
the university administration which notify the applicant of the rejection and
keep a copy of the decision in student personal file.

Otherwise, the student meets the admission criteria and the application is
forwarded to a prospective student adviser who further evaluates it from
different perspectives and decides whether to accept or reject the
application.
o If the student adviser accepts the application, he/she prepares the
acceptance letter and send it directly to the student.
o If the adviser decides to reject the application for some reason, the
decision is forwarded to the university administration which notify
the applicant of the rejection and keep a copy of the decision in
student personal file.
