Create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to show the results of your analysis. Use both on- slide text and narration or speaker notes in your PowerPoint slides to convey your information effectively. If narration is not possible, precise and extensive speaker notes should be used, while addressing all of the rubric elements in the presentation. For example, you can use brief, bulleted lists summarizing the highlights of your analysis on the slide and include more detailed explanations in your narration or speaker notes.

Toyota Motor Corp
Toyota is currently one of the leading producers of trucks, SUV’s and cars in the United
States vehicle industry. Coming from a family that has had their fair share of Toyotas, along with
my grandfather having his Toyota pick-up truck for close to 25 years now, Toyota has good grace
and reputation with my family. “The Toyota brand is the company’s best-selling subsegment,
with around 8.9 million vehicles sold in 2022.” (Carlier, 2024)
Company Overview
Toyota Motor Corporation headquarters currently resides is in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan
that also houses its technical center. The company became incorporated in August of 1937 with a
current status of 372,817 employees as of March, 31, 2022. (Mergent Online, 2024) Toyota
Motor and associates are there to manufacture and sell passenger cars, buses, minivans, trucks
and also sport-utility vehicles. The company also operates across the Americas, Europe, Africa,
Asia Pacific and Middle East.
Customer Base
Toyota Motor Corporation serves a variety of customers. Toyota has ties with individual
and also commercial/business sectors. The company also provides housing, financial services
and telecommunications and information technology businesses. (Plc, 2024) This corporation is
known for their value and durability in their vehicles for the long haul. The company reaches to
all aspects of consumers and not dedicated to one specific group.
Obstacles
Recently, the beginning of 2024, Toyota ran into an uphill battle concerning irregularities
in certification test for diesel engines developed by Toyota Industries. (Toh, 2024) Toyota took a
hit globally because of this issues and currently working on regaining the trust of the public
along with running engine certification test. Also, learning of the Japanese small carmaker
admitted to forged results of safety test for more than 30 years. With both of these issues coming
to light, one after another, the Toyota Industry has to not only regain its communities trust again,
but also fine comb their processes and safety procedures.
Competition
Due to Toyota having to recall tens of millions of cars due to the above issues and safety
precautions, this doesn’t stop competition on the horizon. (Toh, 2024) China’s auto market has
grown to be fierce and doesn’t show any signs on demand numbers slowing down. The obstacle
of missed safety procedures will put a lag on keeping up with current competition also regarding
battery-powered vehicles that competitors is also giving Toyota a push. If Toyota can not
maintain safety procedures along with regain the trust from the public, this could be detrimental
in selling cars and keeping up with the demand of newer projects that the company should be
focusing on as well. The market will also start to move forward with electronic driven vehicles,
and if Toyota can’t maintain its integrity within its certification process, the public will have a
hard time with Toyota producing newer products.
