NYU Effective Response from A Crisis Management Standpoint Discussion

Using the concepts that we have covered in the course so far, please provide a reflection on how the University should respond assuming your are providing recommendations to the President regarding a specific course of action.  What would constitute an effective response from a crisis management standpoint (remember, there are different approaches/viewpoints here)? Would you pick someone within (or outside) Rutgers to take the blame? What could/should have been done differently in order to make sure that Rutgers uses this crisis as an opportunity to learn and recover? Which theories of crisis management are applicable in those cases? What lessons can we draw for the future management of crisis situations pertaining to those type of crisis events? Make sure you provide specifics to justify your response.
