The goal of this Project assignment is to produce campaign materials for a marketing and public
relations campaign. These campaign materials will be presented in a PowerPoint presentation
that will illustrate and discuss the following:
1. A brief description of the campaign client, needs, and competitive environment
2. A screen capture or mock-up in PowerPoint of the home page for the campaign website.
The product I have selected is combining the likeness of an athletic shoe and an Apple watch. This product
is developed by Apple and will be called the Apple sneaker. With the purchase of the product, the
consumer will be getting benefits of an appealing athletic sneaker that is versatile in running, biking, hiking
and everyday attire with the added benefits of a fitness tracker. This shoe will notify the consumer when it
senses that the wearer is doing physical activity and has the ability to then go into tracking mode for the
duration of the workout. The sneaker will be produced in various neutral color palettes and also gives the
consumer the option to create their own colors.
The target audience is both male and females aged 18 – 50 years old. I picked this because at 18, it is
assumed that these kids have their own money to purchase the product and are tech savvy and have some
fitness goals. At 50, many are still active and moderately tech savvy to be able to use these shoes. The social
channels I though was best was Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook. Instagram and Tik Tok will target the
18 – 30-year-old where Facebook hits 30 – 50-year-old market. The price will be $250 for the shoes and
colors are neutrals and can customize. The need for this shoe is, customers want fitness forward athletic
tech, and it combines the benefits of an apple watch and athletic wear.
3. Two elements that demonstrate your campaign branding (i.e., print ad, Web banner,
billboard, radio spot, etc.)
4. The THREE most effective social media platforms for your client: provide an example of the
content messaging to be disseminated in each. Discuss why you chose those three platforms
and why they are the most important messages for those particular social media.

You can choose any existing business large or small as your client. Your campaign must focus
on a holiday promotion for a single NEW product. It must be a new product you create (make
up). It cannot be a current product.
