PART An the lecture, we covered how different social media platforms can be used for personal branding.  Perhaps some of you are already familiar with many different social media platforms. If you’re not, learning to use them can be over overwhelming. For this discussion, you will create a professional (fake) TikTok profile page.  It is always a good idea to brainstorm and create your social media “offline” so you can get feedback before posting.

Below is the template you will be using.

Create two profile slides using the template.

First Slide (professional):

You will upload a graphic, icon, picture (no personal photos) representing your profession, and an image representing you.  For example, if you’re a stylist, you might upload a picture of scissors.

Customize the @irockthevideo to be reflective of your graphic

Add one “a callout” bubble

Optional: add any extra’s you feel are valuable

Second Slide:

Create a video of yourself

Customize the @irockthevideo to be reflective of your video

Optional: If you’ve created a Social Media Personal Brand on any social media platform, share it with the class for feedback.

After you create your slides, upload them to the discussion board and answer the following prompts:

Are both slides professional, and if not, explain why they don’t look professional from your viewpoint.
